Committed to State-of-the-Art & Comfortable Dental Experiences
- Precision Treatment Planning with Cone Beam Imaging
- See What We See & Understand More with Our Intraoral Camera
- 100% Digital Impressions: No More Putty!
Intraoral Cameras
Intraoral cameras allow our team members (and the patient in turn) to have an up close and personal view of each unique smile we treat. After inserting the camera-tipped pen in your mouth, your dentist will be able to clearly point out problematic areas on a nearby monitor, explain the effects of certain treatment recommendations in detail, and help you become an informed partner in your oral healthcare journey instead of leaving you feeling like you’re left in the dark.
All-Digital X-Rays
X-rays are a vital part of diagnosing dental problems that aren’t immediately visible on the surface of your teeth and gums, and digital technology makes the process of collecting them easier and safer for patients. Instead of relying on a darkroom to develop traditional film, your high-resolution images will be captured and instantly transferred to a convenient chairside monitor for viewing – our dentists and team members can even magnify them, rotate them, and color-code them for further educational benefits. The amount of radiation exposure is significantly reduced as well!
Sirona Galileos 3D Cone Beam Imaging
While digital X-rays are extremely helpful in diagnosing dental concerns, they can be limited in their scope. With the Galileos 3D cone beam scanner from Sirona, our team can generate comprehensive, superior 3D images of your smile and related facial structures in just seconds. This information is especially crucial when planning services like dental implant placement; being able to view bone, facial nerves, and other possible obstacles improves accuracy and results in a safer, more successful procedure overall.
Digital Impression System
Dental impressions create a model of a patient’s bite that we can use to personalize a wide range of treatments, but creating them used to be quite the hassle. Thankfully, we no longer rely on messy dental putty and instead capture all the information we need with a small device that fits comfortably in the mouth. It takes thousands of data points instantly and uses them to create a perfect digital model of the teeth and bite in just a few minutes.
WaterLase iPlus Soft Tissue Laser Dentistry
Our advanced WaterLase soft tissue laser eliminates the primary causes of pain dental patients experience with traditional instruments (heat, pressure, vibration, etc) and replaces them with a safe and successful procedure that’s much more comfortable. Our dentists can perform periodontal disease treatment, cosmetic gum recontouring, and much more, treating soft tissues precisely while leaving healthy areas intact. The minimally invasive nature of the laser also reduces bleeding and swelling, significantly speeding up the patient’s recovery.
Cavity Detection System
In the past, the only way a dentist could detect cavities was by literally poking and prodding the teeth, but this often resulted in very small cavities being missed, allowing them to worsen. With our cavity detection system, the enamel is exposed to a special light that reveals even the slightest indications of decay. It allows us to find problems earlier, treat them quicker, and stop them before a patient even notices them.
CEREC® Custom Dental Crowns
Life is too short to spend any more time in a dental office than is absolutely necessary. With the use of CEREC, we have reduced the amount of time it takes to do many porcelain restorations. It allows us to design beautiful porcelain restorations at chairside and deliver them in one single visit.
The benefits to you as the patient are:
- NO messy, putty impression materials in your mouth since all impressions are taken with a digital “wand”
- NO need to wear a “temporary” for 3 weeks while an off-site lab manufactures your crown.
- NO extra time in the dental office since it’s all done in one appointment.
Plus, your dentist will custom design your restoration with computer-assisted technology as opposed to an out-of-area lab tech.
